The Classical Ballet Academy was established in 1990 by Crystal Peterson as the most pivotal point in her quest to freely provide clear and sound information to all students regardless of age or reason for study. Whether preparing for a professional career or just dancing for the joy of it, CBA is a positive working environment that empowers students with confidence, creativity and individuality, while fostering appreciation and respect for the art of ballet and fellow dancers.

CBA is an academy that focuses exclusively on ballet. We offer classes for Children, Teens and Adults as well as performances, lecture demonstrations, workshops and preparation for ballet auditions and the Youth American Grand Prix.

Offers classes in Ballet Movement, Ballet Technique, Pointe, Floor Barre and Release & Stretch throughout the year with the addition of Variations in the summer. Students may create their own weekly schedules from selected classes appropriate to their age and level or drop in for single classes

Open Summer Program choose from one to eight weeks

The Open Program (ages 4-Adults) Students may select their classes.

The KEY Program (ages 4+) Mandatory level requirements.

Schedules are carefully designed in regards to age and level in order to excel the rate of progression and prepare students for a professional career if so desired, high level ballet competitions such as the Youth American Grand Prix, and audition preparation for world acclaimed ballet schools and companies.

New students are welcome to begin their training at CBA at any time.

Please call and leave a good time for the administration to return your call and answer any questions you may have and/or set up an appointment to watch a class, take a trial class or register and take a placement class.

Adults may drop in at anytime to take a single class or buy a series of classes in the Open Program.
